I’m an explorer of sounds places and ideas, channeling the energy of life and adventure into my music. Growing up in the Coromandel Peninsula, the wild landscapes and powerful forces of nature have shaped who I am—stormy seas, sunlit coastlines, grey winter storms, and the vast, open horizon pulse through my work.
For over two decades, I’ve been crafting bass heavy beats and ambient sounds, starting as a drum and bass DJ and evolving into freelance audio engineering across a variety of roles. Playfulness and exploration are at the heart of everything I do, I love blending the many sounds I discover on my adventures into my music.
With my mobile studio, I record in environments that reflect the heart of the project, capturing the unique energy of each space—whether it’s the song of a bird, the rush of waves, or city hum. My soundscapes are more than music; they’re alive, evolving with the world around us.With a mobile studio in tow, I record in all kinds of environments and run hands-on music workshops—from schools to festivals—where everyone can tap into their own creative potential. My electronic soundscapes are filled with nature’s music, from bird songs to rushing water, creating immersive experiences for both headphones and dance floors.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation across Aotearoa and the Pacific for my collaborative approach, technical skill, and empathy for fellow artists, always exploring new sonic territories.
