Pūpū Kōrama
The lovely sound of pūpū kōrama (Cats-eye snails) scraping algae off a rock.
I'm capturing sounds of nature for a new piece of explorative music for Creative Waikato using my own handmade hydrophone. I love these small, hidden sounds found all around us, the thousands of creatures we're surrounded by, going about their days quietly, just beautiful.
Location: Long Bay / Coromandel
Recorded with 'Gladys' Hydrophone, Zoom f6 recorder.
Raw untreated audio.
